Homemade croutons

Homemade CroutonsI love salads and I feel so blessed every time I can have them. I think croutons are an amazing add on to salads and homemade croutons will make your salad taste even better. Not too long ago my husband and I had fun in the kitchen making croutons and they came out delicious!

Here are our top 3 favorite recipes:

Basil, Sea Salt & Olive oil

Cut a day old loaf of sourdough bread in small cubes, preheat oven at 400 degrees, place cubes in a baking sheet, drizzle olive oil on top of the cubes (easy on the oil, you don’t want them too oily) then sprinkle basil and salt. Bake them for 15-20minutes. Let them cool and enjoy.

Butter, Parmesan & Sea Salt

Cut a loaf of day old sourdough bread in small cubes and preheat oven at 400 degrees. Place the cubes in a large bowl, melt 2-3 tbsp of butter in the microwave (15-20 seconds) or in a pan and mix the butter with the bread. Place them in a baking sheet, then sprinkle Parmesan and salt. Bake them for 15-20 minutes. Let them cool and add them to your salad or pack them.
