Sweet blueberry rice recipe (2 servings)
Cook 1 cup of rice as indicated in the package and add half teaspoon of butter to it. I didn’t add any salt because it was not necessary. Once the rice is ready, set aside.
On a separate saucepan, add a cup of milk, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Mix it well in low heat for a few minutes and then add about 10 blueberries to the milk. Cook it until the blueberries start melting.
Add 4 tablespoons of rice to the milk and continue mixing in low heat, then add more and more rice until reaching the consistency you prefer. If you prefer your sweet rice dry, add more rice to the milk, but if you like it juicy, then add less rice.
Serve it warm with more blueberries on top. There’s no better way to start your morning. Enjoy!
